My research interests focus on the structure, kinetics, and dynamics at the surfaces and interfaces of polymers, biomembranes, and their nanocomposites with nanoparticles. I mainly use x-ray techniques such as x-ray diffraction, and grazing-incidence scattering and imaging, x-ray photon correlation spectroscopy. I am also interested in modeling and theoretical development for x-ray scattering and imaging data analysis. Current research projects include liquid polymer surface dynamics, polymer nanofiber structures, lipid biomembrane structures and dynamics, interfacial assembly of nanoparticles, and diblock copolymers.
